A very small gem in Bloomington, MN.
Every item is 'personally' crafted at the time of order. The wonton soup is amazing. Pho is extremely good. They even make their own hot sauce.
Menu is quite limited which is great thing in my book. I rather have amazing Vietnamese food with a limited menu vs bland too many choices.
So well worth it. Will come again. -

It was a bit disappointing not being able to get what I initially went there to eat (because they were out of it), but I was determined to try this restaurant out and just ordered some pho to go. The waiting time was short and before I knew it, I was headed home in my car.
I was surprised to discover that the ingredients were all separated in a box from the broth, which was in a plastic container. I've never ordered take out pho before so I don't know if that's typical, but it was interesting. The broth was still steaming by the time I got home, so I was able to cook all of the ingredients in it. I was a bit nervous about the raw meat, but it was thin and ended up cooking itself just fine. What I noticed from the first taste was that their broth has a unique taste compared to other pho that I've had in the Twin Cities. It was very flavorful and gingery. The noodles were a bit different from other places too and I enjoyed the texture of them.
It's nice to have a Vietnamese restaurant in this area because there aren't a lot of unique options close by. I'm excited to go back and try more stuff. -

Visited one of my friend's frequented spots as we were craving Asian soupy food. What a treat to have CoTu near her house! Restaurant is very homey and workers are very friendly.
The menu is limited from what I am used to in CA, but everything was flavorful and handled with TLC. My steak pho bowl was huge...way more than I would get in CA. The soup wasn't as deep and rich as I would like, and a bit too oily for me. However, the quality of the steak was really good. Appreciated my side of onions too.
Spring rolls were good too, plenty of meat and veggies with the amazing peanut sauce. -

I recently discovered this pho place, and it has quickly become my favorite! The pho broth here is VERY flavorful and delicious. You know pho broth is good when you contemplate adding anything in it. The noodles are also thicker than your usual pho noodles but in a good way.
The workers here are also very kind and helpful. They were constantly refilling our waters and asking if we needed anything. I totally 10/10 would recommend trying this place. -

Had a great experience for lunch. Stopped in on my tour of all the Pho in MInneapolis. I really enjoyed the combo. They use a different noodle which I learned was a northern Vietnamese variety of the dish. As I paid, I was asked what I thought of their restaurant compared to some of the others. It's always great to see a family restaurant that is authentic and good at what they do. Looking for to what they have planned for the future.
